Which is the ideal social network for your business?
Today audiences demand companies to have a presence in social networks, making it an essential part of any communication and business strategy.

Before choosing your network, remember 3 key points:

1. You don’t need to be in all of them, just choose the ones that suit your business.
2. Define your business objective and focus on it when creating content: do you want to increase your sales, generate traffic to your website, create brand exposure?

● Recommended for: consultants and expert specialists of all kinds, audiovisual creators and schools.

 

Instagram:
● It’s trendy, it’s preferred by young people and the adult public is beginning to choose it. In the US, 56% of its audience is female (January, 2020).
● It is very powerful for selling products and if you want to humanize your brand. The key is to generate visually appealing images and short videos of great impact.
● Recommended for: any type of business whose target is women and/or is between 18 and 35 years old. The most favored industries are fashion, health, beauty, decoration, gastronomy and entertainment.

● Users choose it to express opinions and share news, technical information and ask questions. Unlike Instagram, the audience in the US is mostly male (56%).
● It is useful for easy interaction, answering queries, promoting new products and websites. However, remember that there is a limit to the number of characters per post.
● Recommended for: companies that provide consulting services, training and professional and corporate development.

 

LinkedIn:
● It is the professional platform par excellence; this is where you should definitely be if you have a company.
● It’s functional if your goal is to generate sales leads. Its impact is less massive than in other networks, but very effective if your company is B2B.
● Recommended for: businesses that sell specialized products or services for the corporate or professional market.

 

Finally, remember that social networking is effective, but needs consistency and resources. If you cannot do it yourself, it will always be more convenient to outsource your management to professionals who will make your business grow.
